Plain answers about what happens to your details when you book through a webfaCe Classes widget.

Who runs this

webfaCe Classes is a booking service made by webfaCeMEdia (Toronto). Each business that embeds the widget on its website is the one you are booking with; we operate the system on their behalf. All data is stored on servers in Canada.

What we store when you book

Your name, email address and, if the business asks for it, your phone number.
The session you booked: date, time, session type, host, and any note you added.
A booking code, which is the key to view, move or cancel that booking.
If you join a waitlist: your name, email and the session you are waiting for.

We do not store payment details. The widget sets no advertising cookies and does not track you across sites.

What we do with it

Send you a confirmation, a reminder the day before and one an hour before, and a notice if the business has to cancel.
Tell the business and the session's host that you booked, moved or cancelled, so they can plan the session.
Offer a freed spot to the first person on a waitlist.

Emails are sent through a transactional mail provider on our behalf. The business you booked with can see the bookings for its own sessions and nothing else.

How long we keep it

Bookings are kept for up to 12 months after the session date, then deleted automatically. Waitlist entries are removed a week after the session date. A business can ask us to shorten this for their own bookings.

Your choices

Every confirmation email carries a link to view, move or cancel that booking; you can also use your email and booking code on the My booking page.
To have your details removed earlier, email privacy@webfacemedia.com with the email address you booked with. We remove the record within a few business days and confirm by reply.
